“It’s better to have loved and lost….”

Local poets and storytellers of all ages howl at what haunts them in this annual celebration honoring death and loss and celebrating our loved ones who have moved on. Join performers from Tucson and beyond coming together for a special Memorial Reading featuring storyteller Jack McDaniel and the Tucson National Poetry Slam Team at the Personal Altars Vigil at Jacome Plaza, Downtown Main Library at the All Soul’s Procession Weekend at 8pm on Saturday November 3rd, 2007.

Please submit original work under five minutes in length on the subject of the universal phenomenon of Death – whether death of a person, an idea, a lifestyle, a body part, a relationship, a habit, a pet, etc.  Longer pieces or classic poems on the theme that are not original work will also be considered.
