Little Angels is a family-friendly event acknowledging and celebrating deceased loved ones from the perspective of a child. Children participate in art activities such as mask making, decorating sugar skulls, circus arts and theater. Red Herring Puppet Company brings their magic to the mask-making tables.
Children and families are invited to enact their own sunset Procession and join Stories that Soar! for dramatic performances of stories about death and grief collected from Tucson school children and told in their own words.
Family Altars and The Urn are also part of the event. You are welcome to place prayers in the URN or create a pop-up Altar on the Sunset Procession path.
