DESCRIPTION:Have you ever experienced something that you just couldn’t explain? Sometimes . . . It’s a Mystery! This October\, the scream queens of FST! Female StoryTellers are bringing their true stories of the chilling\, the uncanny\, the mysterious and the unexplained to the stage. \nASL interpreters will be provided. Venue is 21+. \nAs always\, FST! will donate a portion of proceeds to a local nonprofit. This month\, our beneficiary is Many Mouths One Stomach\, a Tucson-based collective of artists\, teachers\, and community activists who create\, inspire\, manifest and perpetuate modern festal culture\, as expressed by their annual efforts to organize Tucson’s All Souls Procession. \nFST! Female StoryTellers is a community of women in Tucson\, AZ dedicated to expressing creativity through storytelling. FST! was founded in 2012 as a platform and showcase for the smart\, talented women of Tucson. Each month FST! invites four or more women to write and perform original stories based on a common prompt. With each story presenting a unique perspective on that month’s theme\, every FST! performance combines hilarity\, personality\, and insight to entertain and inspire audiences. As passionate as the women of FST! are about telling great stories\, Female StoryTellers also use their powers for good by raising funds for local arts and community organizations.
