Many Mouths One Stomach (MMOS) will be collaborating with Tucson Meet Yourself (TMY) this year! We are excited to do live intake for the Ancestors Project in collaboration with LA Artists – Ofelia Esparza and Rosanna Esparza-Aherns from Tonalli Studio.

This participant based Altar installation will be housed in the auditorium at City High School on Pennington St.
And will be active for 3 days
Friday October 11–11am-6pm
Saturday October 12–11am-6pm
Sunday October 13–11am-6pm

21 hours total needed. Shifts are 2-4 hrs.
Skills needed
1. ability to use a computer-basic Photoshop or Preview skills
2. ability to scan an image in high resolution and save to a folder
3. ability to upload to the all souls ancestors portal via internet

This is a thoughtful process of interacting and collaborating with the public on something very personal.
TMY staff will be assisting and they will be photocopying each image as well for inclusion on the physical altar that is constructed in the space. A projected image will be included in part of the live Altar as well. Our area is set up with all the equipment necessary to do the task as well as promotional materials for the Procession, donation box and live Urn submissions.
