The Procession of Little Angels returns to Armory Park Saturday, Nov. 5th, 2022 3 pm-7:00 pm
The Procession of Little Angels is a family-friendly event acknowledging grief and celebrating the lives of deceased loved ones from a child’s perspective.
Art activities are guided by talented local artists and encourage healing through traditional and upcycled art forms such as mask making, wearable angel wing creations, and sugar skull decoration.
As the sun sets, children and families process around Armory Park and through the Children’s Altar Path, lined with glowing pop-up Altars dedicated to children who have passed.
Before and after The sunset Procession, stories about death and grief collected from Tucson school children are enacted by the
“Stories That Soar” cast.
Families are welcome to bring photographs or remembrances of children to place on the Children’s Altar and place prayers in the All Souls URN and create pop-up Altars on the Armory Park grounds.
