MMOS, Literacy Connects and End of Life Doulas announce a new and ongoing collaboration for the 2026 Procession of Little Angels at the Literacy Connects Campus.
The free event, now in it’s 20th year, gives kids and families the opportunity to process grief in creative and meaningful ways, through art and performance.
The Procession of Little Angels will be held Saturday Nov, 7th, 2026 between 3pm and 7pm at The Literacy Connects Campus 200 E Yavapai Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705.
Little Angels is a free family-friendly event acknowledging and celebrating deceased loved ones from the perspective of a child. Children participate in art activities such as angel wing decoration and DIY face painting.
Children and families are invited to enact their own sunset Procession and join Stories that Soar! for dramatic performances of stories about death and grief collected from Tucson school children and told in their own words.
The afternoon also includes performance by Tucson Girls Chorus
Family’s can build pop-up Altars to honor children and thier will be a collection station for prayers for the URN.
