Little Angels is a free family-friendly event acknowledging and celebrating deceased loved ones from the perspective of a child. Children participate in art activities such as angel wing decoration and DIY face painting.
Children and families are invited to enact their own sunset Procession and join Stories that Soar! for dramatic performances of stories about death and grief collected from Tucson school children and told in their own words.
The afternoon also includes performances by Tucson Girls Chorus and Las Aguilitas Mariachi de Davis.
Family’s can build pop-up Altars to honor children and thier will be a collection station for prayers for the URN.

Tucson End-of-Life Doulas Mandala Project w/ Stories that Soar
Tucson End-of-Life Doulas is excited to be collaborating with the All Souls Procession and Stories that Soar for the Procession of Little Angels 2024 where children of all ages are invited to express themselves through art, creating mandalas with markers and stickers to either keep or leave to be displayed at the Tucson End-of-Life Doulas installation the following night at the All Souls Procession.
The Stories that Soar! Magic Box, Curiosity Box, and Baby Box will be available for stories, questions, and facts the children may have.
The Project is an invitation for children to have the freedom to explore their thoughts and feelings, or to just have fun coloring and hanging out with the Doulas and each other. There are no rules. It’s art! Educational materials will be available for the community regarding how to help children move through grief and loss.
